Compact OPTIMAL

The main feature of the T659/1 Optimal is its self-supporting construction, which reduces the machine's weight and eliminates the need for a separate frame structure (no load-bearing frame). The drive axle is bolted directly to the bottom of the hopper. The wagon is designed for small farms, as well as those with low and narrow barns that limit entry. The Optimal wagon comes with basic equipment as standard, which can be expanded with additional options thanks to its modular design.

Tank

Durable tank made of structural steel

The tank of the T705 feed mixer is made of high-quality structural steel, resistant to intensive use. The 8 mm thick S355 steel bottom guarantees high mechanical strength and structural stability even when working with heavy and wet feed components. This solution ensures a long service life of the tank and trouble-free operation for many seasons.

Reinforced bottom with TIVAR 88 liner – maximum protection

To increase the durability of the most heavily loaded element, the tank bottom has been lined with a 6 mm thick TIVAR 88 (polyethylene) plastic liner. It effectively protects the bottom part of the tank against abrasion and corrosion, even during intensive feed mixing. The liner is fastened with stainless steel screws and washers, which ensures its stability and resistance to moisture.

Counter-knife supporting mixing and shredding

A specially designed counter-knife is mounted in the central part of the tank, which actively supports the feed mixing process. This solution improves the efficiency of component shredding and ensures a more homogeneous mixture structure. The result is better TMR quality and uniform herd feeding.

Inspection platform with a safe, folding ladder

A convenient inspection platform allows for ongoing observation of the feed mixing process, increasing control over the machine's operation. The folding ladder facilitates safe access to the inside of the tank and reduces the risk of accidents during operation. This practical solution improves work ergonomics and user comfort on a daily basis.

Feed Loading

Rear chute – simple and convenient solution as standard

The standard equipment of the T705 feed mixer includes a manually opened rear chute, which allows for quick and convenient loading of various types of loose feed. This solution provides good control over the loading quantity and operator comfort. An additional advantage is the ability to observe the feed mixing process without having to climb onto the inspection platform, which increases safety and convenience of operation.

Hydraulic loading flap 0.8 m³ – greater efficiency and comfort (option)

The optional 0.8 m³ hydraulic loading flap allows for quick loading of larger quantities of loose feed. Thanks to control from the cab, the operator gains full control over the loading process, without the need to interrupt work. The flap can also be opened during mixing, which allows for ongoing observation of the process without climbing onto the platform. Additionally, optional adjustment of the flap's lifting and lowering speed increases precision and safety of use.

Feed Mixing System

Two horizontal augers – fast and even mixing

The Metal-Fach T705 feed mixer uses an efficient mixing system based on two horizontal augers, located in the lower part of the tank. This solution ensures intensive yet gentle mixing of ingredients, guaranteeing high feed homogeneity even with a small number of components. Complete mixing of the ration is achieved in a short time, which translates into fuel savings and higher work efficiency.

Durable cutting augers – precise feed shredding

The augers are equipped with octagonal cutting knives that effectively support the feed shredding and mixing process. The co-rotating operation of the augers directs the material to the center of the tank, ensuring an even flow of feed and a stable mixing process. The auger flights, made of 12 mm thick S355 structural steel, guarantee high wear resistance and long service life even with intensive use.

Reliable drive system – maintenance-free operation for years

Power transmission in the mixing system occurs through a combination of a planetary gearbox (primary drive) and a cylindrical gearbox (main drive). This solution ensures smooth and reliable operation of the augers and minimizes the risk of failure. The robust design of the drive system translates into long, maintenance-free operation without the need for time-consuming and costly service work.

Check technical details
The width dimension and thus the bottom of the wagon as well as the slope of the hopper walls can be modified by the customer. Changes to the above dimensions affect the main dimensions of the feed mixer wagon (length, width, height). Any changes should be discussed with the dealer.

Container floor

The bottom is made of S355 quality steel with a thickness of 20 mm. The shape of the hopper and the matching mixing auger ensure perfect TMR preparation with minimal power requirements.

Mixing and cutting auger

Innovation in vertical mixing

A mixing and cutting auger made of S355 steel is mounted to the bottom of the hopper. As standard, it is equipped with 10 carbide-coated PREMIUM knives. The auger can be optionally equipped with an additional 2 or 3 knives.
The auger is fitted with a 10 mm thick scraper. A magnet can be optionally mounted to the scraper to catch metal contaminants in the mixed TMR ration. This system significantly reduces injuries and forestomach disorders.

Counterblade

Two mechanical counter knives are installed as standard. An optional upgrade is a hydraulically controlled counter knife. The ideal placement of adjustable counter knives supports the cutting and mixing process. Depending on your needs, they can be extended or retracted.

Anti-overflow ring

The wagon comes standard with a welded restrictor ring. You can replace it with a bolted version.
This is a hopper component that prevents feed from escaping during mixing and reinforces the hopper structure.

Weighing system

The universal, programmable weighing system enables the creation of feeding strategies, feed distribution according to a defined strategy, and collection of feeding data necessary for accurate weighing of individual feed components.

Discharge windows

Feeding on both sides simultaneously

Every T659 OPTIMAL feed mixer wagon comes standard with discharge windows fitted with discharge chutes on both sides.
The discharge windows provide a simple way to distribute feed directly onto the feed table. The protective apron prevents feed from being thrown outside the trough.
Depending on user preference, the discharge points can be positioned on any side of the hopper: front, rear, left, or right.
This solution allows feed to be delivered in any barn, even in buildings without a separate entrance.
