The new geometry of the retaining walls helps to increase the capacity in the number of bales that can be stacked in the upper layer on the platform. The main structural member is made of bent sections. This significantly reduces the number of sharp edges, which is critical to hauling film-wrapped bales.
The higher side edge prevents the hauled material from sliding out. The rounded edges with removable chain brackets prevent damage to film-wrapped bales.
There are many ports in the side profiles of the frame to secure the lashing strap hooks to, which greatly facilitates security of the material being hauled.
The load space can be extended further by pulling out the rear frame part by up to 1000 mm. The protective coating of the frame extension system is hot-dip zinc.
Frame extension hydraulic drive – NEW!
The platform bed can be provided with an optional hydraulic extension drive, which can be set to any extended position. The two hydraulic actuators provide a smooth control of the frame extension without having to leave the cab. The hydraulic system is protected by hydraulic check valves: if a hydraulic line fails, the frame stops and stays in place.
The T014 platform is coupled to the tractor through a 2100 mm long Y-drawbar which has a Ø40 mm eye. An advantage of the drawbar is increased manoeuvrability and reduced wear of the tractor tires.
The suspension system is based on durable 7-leaf springs – this ensures long, trouble-free and comfortable operation of this machine.
The side impact guards are protect others on public roads. The sections and brackets are made of high-quality materials. This means they provide reliable protection.
The T014 TRANSPORTER COMPACT bale platform bed trailer features an overrun protection bar as standard. The bar is installed on the tail of the trailer to protect others on the road.
The trailer options include a manual rear hitch. This enhances the functionalities of the platform.
The trailer can be fitted with an optional toolbox measuring 685 × 500 mm in plan. The toolbox helps with the secure and convenient storage of essentials on the vehicle.
The bale platform bed trailer can be provided with a tank for water. The high quality plastic used for this feature ensures resistance to harsh weather. The tank is provided with a soap dispenser.
The T014 platform bed trailer can be equipped with optional mudguards made of high-quality plastic material. An undisputed advantage of the mudguards is their resistance to weather.
The rubber mud flaps prevent water being splashed by the wheels. These parts are resistant to weather.
